Fontana Group

Fontana Group is an International, family-owned and managerial enterprise.
The Company started up as a mechanical workshop in 1956, thanks to founder Pietro Fontana’s great technical expertise and business genius, two qualities which have characterized all Italian successful companies after the Second World War.
The company grew increasing its business in the Seventies under the guidance of the second family generation: Walter and Marco Fontana, sons of founder Pietro Fontana and today’s respectively President and Technical Vice-President of Fontana Group.
They literally conquered the automotive sector becoming leader in the production of dies and car bodies for the most important supercar brands all over the world and turning into the great successful international Group as we know it today, with its producing plants in Italy and abroad.
The last decade witnessed the introduction of the third family generation into the Group: Valentina and Stefano Fontana, engaged in the Strategy and Business Development.
The third generation gave birth to the first project of product diversification in the field of Design, and conceived a general re-organisation process by recruiting the best profiles coming from the management of very important Italian and International companies. The aim: to follow up with the Family businesslike view.
For over 50 years Fontana Family has been working on values like Quality and Research, fundamental key factors to reach success and excellence in all reference fields.
Many prizes and awards received by Customers and Italian and foreign Institutions certify Fontana Group’s success, last but not the least the Prize “Italian Excellence” received by Ferrari, for which Fontana Group realizes the 100% of car bodies for the Granturismo models.
