FONTANA TECHNICAL SCHOOL

Fontana Group is focused on innovation and on continuous improvement; it constantly develops new technologies through partnerships and integration of technology and design with its own customers.
This method requires sense of engagement and responsibility from all employees at all levels: motivation and professional growth are both the basis of the successes obtained so far and the starting point for new achievements.
The high organizational complexity and the standard of technology developed in the Group need to get the most of specialized know-how at every single level; in this sense Human Resources play a fundamental role for the success of the Group.
The Corporate HR Group has the duty to develop the technical-professional and business skills of employees at all levels by means of the Fontana Technical School, collaborating with the technical institutes in the nearby area and with international Universities, increasing integrated plans of training, training on the job and induction training, and promoting job rotation programs, even across the different companies of the Group, in Italy or abroad.
Fontana Group promotes also school-work alternation, a different way of acquiring knowledge and skills, introduced by the Law 107/2015, based on the integration between the world of school and that of work.
Confindustria recognized to Fontana Group the BAQ 2018 – a Seal for Quality of Alternation – which rewards those companies which stand out for high quality of school-work alternation, starting virtuous partnerships with high schools and professionals schools. logo-BAQ Walter Fontana, President and CEO of Fontana Group, moreover, has been appointed member of the Scientific Committee of the high school Liceo Scientifico e Musicale “G.B. Grassi” of Lecco for the academic year 2017/2018. The establishment of the Scientific Committee is aimed to strengthen the synergistic link between the school educational aims, the innovation of scientific and technological research, the needs of the territory and those of the world of work.
